Pay Range : $800-$1,400/week salary based on experience and ability

Experience : 10 years field experience, w/3 years leading a crew (or 2 years of college)

Reports to : Area Manager

Job Description

Ensuring jobsite safety and OSHA compliance
Maintaining construction schedules and crews
Read and interpret construction plans and specifications to determine construction requirements in order to plan procedures
Obtain all necessary shop drawings and rough openings from the builder before starting work
Layout work using string lines, chalk lines, tapes and levels to ensure the crew can do the work correctly and efficiently
Review takeoffs and order materials
Ensure all layout is complete and material and equipment is on site before the crew arrives
Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of construction workers
Estimate material or worker requirements to complete extra work orders
Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met
Manage all equipment on site
Work with contractors to resolve issues and to coordinate activities
Maintain customer relations
